centros software labs

The Software Labs network is Indra´s technological development centre, specialised in the development of software engineering projects. The combination of nearshore and offshore centres, the permanent focus towards innovation and R&D, and the strong commitment to the highest quality standards (CMMi 3 and CMMi4), allows Indra to improve efficiency and productivity in software development, and increase its competitiveness and differentiation as a company.

However, all of this would not be possible without a strict and shared methodology, which translates into processes and tools, and a common culture for all of the network centres. Indra makes a strong commitment towards the industrialisation of production in order to ensure reliability, quality, and delivery deadlines.

Innovation

The commitment of the Software Labs towards innovation is applied both in the continuous improvement of processes, as well as in the development of new solutions and services, which translates into increased quality, productivity and competitiveness. This is possible thanks to the work of recognising emerging technologies and the permanent efforts towards improving employee skills.

Software Labs network since 2010 has its own system of innovation management implemented and certified according to UNE-166 002.

Quality

The development methodology of the Software Labs network is based on a culture of continuous improvement for establishing its quality system. Specifically, the quality policy is based on the following methodologies, models and certifications:

  • Specific standards required by the client: ESA, ID109, PECAL, etc.
  • UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
  • CMMi levels 3 and 4.
  • Total quality reference models: European Model (EFQM).
  • Proprietary methodology for the development and set-up of management systems and software products.
  • Other software quality reference models: ISO 15505, etc..
