Sustainability management at Indra is based on the Corporate Social Responsibility Master Plan. This Plan was drawn up in 2004 and is reviewed annually with input from the Indra professionals in charge of relations with each of the company’s stakeholder groups. The Master plan creates the right environment for ensuring that corporate responsibility takes on the prominent and distinctive role of growth and innovation driver, at all times aligned with the company’s business targets. Indra follows a decentralised sustainability management model which engages all of its corporate departments and boasts the support of absolutely all the company’s divisions.

The Master plan dictates the CSR policies, programs and initiatives that the company should carry out and report on, taking a two-pronged approach:
- Stakeholder engagement: improving communication and feedback channels.
- Innovative company management to improve its sustainability record.
Indra’s goal is to achieve sustainable development as a business, i.e., doing business and achieving growth in ways that balance the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development.
