NATS together with Indra in air traffic

NATS, the air traffic service provider for the United Kingdom, has awarded Indra a contract to develop the future generation of flight data processing systems in the United Kingdom, keystone of the air traffic control system.

Indra and NATS will work together on this project, characterized by its complexity as well as technical requirements. The agreement strengthens the confidence both companies have in establishing a long-term relationship.

The system that Indra will develop for NATS falls under the collaboration agreement called iTEC (Interoperability Through European Collaboration), with the participation of the Spanish air navigation service provider, AENA, and its German counterpart, DFS, as well as NATS and Indra. The system is also being considered by other European countries as the solution for their future air traffic control needs.
