Management modernisation at Vietnam Electricity
Indra is responsible for modernising the financial and human resources (HR) areas of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the state-owned corporation and the largest electricity company in Vietnam. For the financial area, Indra has installed the Integrated System for Financial, HR, Warehousing, and Procurement Management (IFMMIS).
The project includes the automation and optimisation of base processes in finance, materials, project management, and payroll at its Hanoi headquarters and in more than 30 offices for the area of generation, distribution, transmission and telecommunications.

EVN has also commissioned Indra to carry out the Human Resources development programme, which has the objective of optimising the professional abilities of the different areas in this department. The project is centred on the challenges and uncertainties faced by HR personnel and the company´s leaders when managing EVN and its offices.
For the IFMMIS project, Indra will install a pre-designed computer application package that complies with Vietnam´s regulations and laws, and adapts to EVN´s particularities in terms of how its finances, human resources, and materials are managed. The new corporate computer system will allow the various departments and offices to share data in a secure and standardised environment, as well as provide more efficiency and facilitate the decision making that is currently required by the industry. Aside from installing the system, Indra will also establish programmes for change management, training, and support for all of the project´s users.
On another hand, the HR optimisation programme will cover the most important aspects of the department´s functions, including training and development, policy creation, resource planning, selection and hiring, performance appraisal, and skills management.
